About this course

How well do you understand the concept of “neurodiversity”? Would you like to learn how to better support, and value, your neurodivergent colleagues? Are you keen to be part of creating a more inclusive, diverse, and innovative media industry? Then this is the introduction course for you.

What you’ll learn

  • What “neurodiversity” really means
  • Why the language we use matters
  • How to recognise and support different neurotypes, from ADHD and autism to dyslexia and more
  • What reasonable adjustments look like in practice, and your legal responsibilities around them
  • How to build teams, spaces, and systems that let every kind of brain thrive

Who is it for?

This course is designed to equip everyone in the creative industries in Wales (film, TV, animation, games, music, VFX, publishing) with tools to create a better, more welcoming, and more accessible place to work. The modules are designed to be useful to all, regardless of job role, career stage, or position.
